We are a southwest music school with a part time position for a vocal teacher. Applicant must have a degree in voice, 2-3 yr. experience teaching students of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver customized vocal lessons tailored to each student’s skill level and musical interests
- Create a positive, energetic atmosphere that encourages confidence and musical exploration
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Support students in preparing for recitals, performances, or auditions as needed
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, and student development
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to communicate progress and provide guidance on practice routines
Requirements
- Robust background in music education with a focus on voice training
- Experience working with students from 8 yr. to adults.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that inspire confidence and enjoyment in singing
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, energetic demeanor
- Ability to work Saturdays and week day evenings.
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
