Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Integrator Engineer / Security Design Generalist with robust expertise in security architecture, application security, cloud security, and technology risk assessments. The ideal candidate will have broad technical experience combined with strong risk management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
The role involves conducting security architecture assessments across multiple technologies and business units, identifying security risks, recommending remediation, and collaborating with global technology, business, supplier, and partner teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead security architecture and SecDesign deep-dive assessments with technology and business stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize technology and security risks based on business impact.
- Review technical designs and functional requirements to identify security weaknesses and recommend appropriate controls.
- Assess authentication, authorization, auditing, application security, data protection, network security, and cloud security.
- Review and enhance security reference architectures and security blueprints.
- Participate in operational and technology risk governance processes.
- Provide security requirements and recommendations to development and technology teams.
- Collaborate with global teams on modernization of SDLC, deployment automation, private/public cloud, and SaaS-based tooling.
- Support the development and deployment of secure enterprise applications and platforms.
- Communicate security risks and recommendations effectively to both technical and business audiences.
Required Security Architecture Skills
- In-depth knowledge of application, network, and platform security vulnerabilities.
- Experience conducting Information Security, IT Security, and audit assessments.
- Strong experience reviewing technical designs and functional requirements for security weaknesses.
- Knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure security principles.
- Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD security practices.
- Working experience in at least three security domains, including:
- Authentication technologies such as SAML, SiteMinder, Kerberos, and OpenID
- Identity and entitlement management
- Data protection, data leakage prevention, and secure data transfer/storage
- Application security and software attack methodologies
- Cryptography, encryption, and hashing
Development & Technical Skills
- Previous experience in programming, application design, and application architecture.
- Experience implementing complex enterprise applications.
- Working knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, C/C++, Perl, Python, or Ruby.
- Knowledge of web technologies including web browsers, web servers, and web services.
- Experience with database design and programming.
- Knowledge of enterprise frameworks and technologies such as J2EE, .NET, Spring, SOAP, JMS, RMI, and Hibernate.
Desired Skills
- Experience with GitHub,
Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar development and release-management tools.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, firewalls, proxies, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Knowledge of enterprise operating systems including Unix, Windows, z/OS, and macOS.
- Experience with security testing tools such as Veracode, Fortify, AppScan, WebInspect, or Burp.
- Experience conducting or reviewing penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
- Understanding of geographic regulations and their impact on security assessments.
- Financial Services experience is preferred.
- CISSP or other relevant industry certification is an advantage.
- Experience working with global organizations is highly desirable.
