Duties

- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using a dedicacted PACS/RIS Velox.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm radiology appointments accurately while managing a busy multi-line phone system.
- Maintain organized patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with billing processes, insurance verifications, and processing payments efficiently.
- Coordinate communication between patients, radiologists, and other healthcare providers to facilitate seamless care delivery.
- Answer inquiries via phone or in person, providing clear information about procedures and appointment details.

Requirements





- Proven experience as a medical receptionist in a radiology centre or in a similar healthcare settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records ( Preferably previous experience with Velox).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and providing exceptional front desk customer service.
- Previous experience with office software applications and administrative procedures is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically with patients and team members.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures, insurance processing, and billing practices is a plus.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
