DZ Truck Drivers in Maxville, ON needed! Full-time direct-hire positions. Our client is family is a family-owned fuel & delivery company specializing in propane, fuel, oil and diesel exhaust fluid deliveries

This is a full time, permanent role, working evenings on 8-12 hour shifts starting at 5:00 pm including occasional weekends.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

- Ensure safe and timely delivery of petroleum products, propane and DEF to residential and commercial customers.
- Be required to work regular evening shifts, including some weekends as part of the paid-on-call rotation.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping including product delivery, maintenance of logbooks, and transportation of dangerous goods reports.
- Along with performing mandatory circle checks, maintain the cleanliness of the truck, cab, and work location.
- Share all pertinent information with dispatch including improvement suggestions for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.




- Obey all legal and company regulations affecting the operation of motor vehicles.
- Perform other duties as required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- Valid DZ license.
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial DZ driving experience.
- Clean driver’s abstract and acceptable CVOR.
- Mechanical inclination is desirable.
- Ability and willingness to be cross-trained on fuel and propane deliveries as well as tank installations, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; position requires frequent bending and moving heavy loads.
- Local geographical knowledge is required.
- Positive and humble attitude.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrates a safety-first approach to the role
