A family-owned fleet maintenance operation is hiring a Heavy-Duty Truck & Trailer Mechanic 310T or 310J in Bolton, ON to diagnose, service, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Duties & Responsibilities

- Diagnose, service, and repair heavy-duty trucks and multi-axle trailers, including flatbeds, step decks, and floats.
- Complete MTO-compliant commercial vehicle safety inspections within the scope of your license.
- Inspect and repair brakes, suspension, air systems, and related valves to keep equipment safe and reliable.
- Perform general maintenance and fabrication work, including welding and torch work.
- Maintain a clean, organized shop and uphold high standards of workmanship, safety, and timely equipment turnaround.

Requirements

- Required:

- Valid 310T or 310J mechanic license.




- Hands-on experience completing MTO-compliant commercial vehicle safety inspections.
- Strong diagnostic and repair experience with heavy-duty truck or trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, and air systems.
- Ability to perform welding and torch work.
- Commitment to quality workmanship, safe work practices, and maintaining a clean shop.

- Preferred:

- Experience working in a fleet maintenance environment supporting transport operations.
- Familiarity with flatbeds, floats, step decks, and similar heavy-duty trailer configurations.

#PJ1 Compensation:

- $40.00 – $50.00/hour starting pay based on experience, training, and licensing
