Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our fleet running smoothly, minimizing downtime and supporting our operational excellence. Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers forklifts, and front end loaders.
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrication as needed to restore equipment functionality or modify parts for improved performance.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to disassemble, repair, or assemble various mechanical components.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and uphold high safety standards across all operations.

Experience

- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in truck & trailer repair, and heavy equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with excavator, skid steer, forklift operation, and other heavy machinery is advantageous.
- Experience reading schematics and technical diagrams for complex mechanical or electrical systems.
- Ability to perform welding tasks using various techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and end users regarding repairs or maintenance issues.

Pay: $27.00-$40.00 per hour
