Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Sales BDC Representative. This role is essential in driving customer engagement, generating sales opportunities, and supporting the Sales Department. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, results-oriented, and focused on maximizing lead conversion and appointment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle inbound calls with a heavy focus on making outbound calls to sales leads and prospective customers.
- Send and respond to customer texts and emails in a skilled and timely manner.
- Respond to online sales inquiries and internet leads promptly and professionally.
- Qualify sales leads by understanding customer needs, vehicle preferences, trade-in information, and purchase timelines.
- Schedule sales appointments and follow up with customers to confirm bookings and encourage showroom visits.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with new, unsold, missed, and previous sales leads.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding vehicle availability, promotions, incentives, and dealership events.
- Ensure all customer interactions and follow-up activities are accurately documented in the dealership CRM and BDC systems.
- Work closely with Sales Consultants and the Sales Management Team to ensure a smooth transition of customers from the BDC to the Sales Department.
- Assist with outbound campaigns for unsold leads, lease maturities, customer retention, promotional offers, and other sales initiatives.




- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and escalated issues in a professional and efficient manner.
- Stay informed on current inventory, dealership promotions, manufacturer programs, and sales processes to effectively answer customer questions and maximize appointment opportunities.
- Meet or exceed established BDC targets, including lead response times, contact rates, appointment setting, appointment confirmations, and show rates.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- 1–3 years of experience in a BDC, automotive sales, or automotive call centre environment.
- OMVIC Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., PBS, AutoAlert, Activix).
- Strong telephone and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Goal-oriented and motivated to achieve and exceed performance targets.
- Automotive dealership experience preferred.

Pay: $36,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
