Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Lot Attendant to join our team. This role involves maintaining the appearance and organization of our vehicle lot, assisting with vehicle movement, and providing excellent customer service to visitors. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in cleaning or customer service is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in automotive operations and customer interaction within a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle lot, including washing and detailing vehicles as needed
- Assist customers by providing information and answering questions courteously
- Move vehicles safely within the lot to designated areas or for test drives
- Ensure vehicles are properly parked and secured when not in use
- Conduct routine inspections of the lot to identify any safety hazards or maintenance needs
- Support team members with general duties related to vehicle management and lot upkeep
- Keep records of vehicle movements and lot conditions for reporting purposes
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning or customer service is preferred but not required
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license is preferred for vehicle movement responsibilities
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance at all times
