Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Excavator Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy equipment to efficiently execute excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. Duties

- Operate excavators with precision to perform digging, trenching, lifting, and material handling tasks across various construction sites.
- Utilize additional heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving equipment to support project requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to interpret plans, blueprints, and site layouts for accurate execution of tasks.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate repairs when necessary.
- Support horizontal drilling operations by setting up and operating specialized machinery as needed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently,



including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction setting with a strong understanding of heavy equipment functions.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Caterpillar machinery or similar brands such as John Deere or Komatsu.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience operating dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving machines preferred.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience in commercial driving required.
- Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong construction background with familiarity in site preparation, grading, paving, and general excavation work.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and site plans accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team workplace.

Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48.0 per week
