Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will support the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing accounts, processing transactions, and maintaining financial records. Duties
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Workday, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, Kronos, UltiPro, ADP, and UltiPro to record financial transactions accurately
- Perform data entry tasks related to invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents with high attention to detail
- Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and ensure ledger accuracy
- Support payroll processing activities using systems like ADP or Kronos by verifying employee hours and deductions
- Conduct account analysis to monitor financial transactions and prepare reports for management review
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare supporting documentation for audits
Requirements
- Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Workday, PeopleSoft or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable functions
- Familiarity with payroll systems including ADP or Kronos is highly desirable
- Excellent data entry skills combined with robust math aptitude for accurate calculations and account analysis
- Ability to perform account reconciliation efficiently and accurately
- Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial services industry standards
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors
- Prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting support role is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $36,198.22-$68,441.54 per year
