We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Picture Framing Chop & Joiner Carpenter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality picture frames and custom woodwork using precise cutting, joining, and finishing techniques. Your expertise will ensure each piece meets exact specifications, delivering exceptional craftsmanship for our clients.
Duties
- Cut, shape, and assemble wood pieces using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to create precise joints and finishes
- Operate woodworking machinery such as chop saws, table saws, sanders,
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects meet design specifications, quality standards, and deadlines
- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or custom framing with a strong understanding of construction processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels,
hammers, saws, and measuring devices; familiarity with power tools including drills and sanders
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and the stamina to stand for extended periods during detailed work
