Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of goods
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal performance
- Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures, and document all deliveries accurately in company systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and equipment at all times
- Assist with inventory management by inspecting freight for damages or discrepancies during loading and unloading
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling
- Experience with freight handling and logistics coordination
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy loads regularly

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
