Our client is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Java) to join their team on a 12 month contract. This role covers the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design through coding, testing, and deployment. You'll work across the stack, building both user facing interfaces and server side components, while collaborating closely with product owners, designers, and architects.

Key Responsibilities
Engage with internal customers to understand use cases and requirements, advocating for user centric solutions
Design, develop, and deliver software using a range of tools, languages, and frameworks (Agile methodology)
Assess requirements and determine the right technology stack, integration approach, and deployment strategy
Create high level software architecture designs outlining structure, components, and interfaces
Collaborate cross functionally with product owners, designers, and architects
Define and implement test strategy, guidelines,



and processes aligned with industry best practices
Continuously improve application performance and explore recent technologies to boost development efficiency
Apply practices like test driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
Support security practices to safeguard user data, including encryption and anonymization
Build user friendly, interactive front end interfaces
Develop and maintain back end applications, including APIs and microservices
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies relevant to the stack

Required Skills
UI development
Software development (full stack)
6+ years in IT, with 4+ years specifically in development
Proficiency in two coding languages, or advanced proficiency in one
