Overview
We are seeking a skilled Water & Sewer Pipelayer to join our construction team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining water and sewer pipelines with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lay and install water and sewer pipelines according to project specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, fitting, and securing piping systems
- Manage the rigging of heavy materials and equipment to ensure protected lifting and placement
- Maintain a clean work site by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
Experience
- Prior experience with heavy equipment operation including excavator, backhoe, bucket truck,
and bucket operation is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to water and sewer installation is preferred
- Knowledge of safety procedures for working around heavy machinery and underground utilities is essential
- Previous work in water or sewer infrastructure projects will be considered an asset
