Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrician/Supervisor to lead electrical projects and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair activities across residential and commercial projects. Job Summary

A working journeyman electrician supervisor splits time between hands-on electrical work and leadership duties. They ensure projects follow electrical codes, meet safety rules, and finish on time. They also train apprentices and help solve technical problems.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, inspectors, and clients to plan work schedules, resource allocation, and project milestones.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with industry codes and safety regulations.
- Team Supervision - assign daily tasks, direct crew members, and check work quality.



Mentor junior electricians by providing guidance on technical tasks, safety procedures, and best practices in industrial electrical work.
- Hands-on Work: Install, maintain, and repair wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Follow and enforce all safety regulations and run daily safety talks.
- Read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to guide the team.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, schematics updates, and compliance records.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Prior supervisory experience leading electrical teams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician trade certification or license.
- Several years of hands-on trade experience.
- Deep understanding of local and national electrical codes.
- Strong skills to lead a team and report project progress to managers.
