As the Manager, you will play an active role in the daily operation of the repair centre and work closely with your team to achieve operational and customer-service goals. Responsibilities

- Support the President and Senior Operations Manager with the daily operation of the production and logistics departments.
- Coach, train, support, and assist Production Assistants.
- Review repair orders for accuracy, completeness, proper documentation, and billing requirements.
- Ensure customers, insurance companies, and vendors receive timely updates throughout the repair process.
- Professionally handle and resolve escalated customer and vendor concerns.
- Monitor appointment scheduling, shop capacity, workflow, and technician productivity.
- Coordinate work between Service Assistants, technicians, parts personnel, and warranty departments.
- Ensure repair documentation, insurance paperwork, and payout submissions are completed accurately and on time.
- Review estimates, repair recommendations, and deferred work opportunities.
- Assist with quality-control inspections prior to vehicle delivery.
- Monitor open repair orders, aging work, and vehicles awaiting parts.
- Help maintain robust customer satisfaction and positive relationships with parts manufacturers, suppliers,



vendors, and business partners.
- Ensure company policies, safety procedures, and repair/service processes are consistently followed.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, coaching, and performance management.
- Support company gross-profit, labour-sales, productivity, customer-satisfaction, and retention targets.
- Identify opportunities to improve shop efficiency, workflow, communication, and profitability.
- Step into other necessary roles when required to support the business.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a truck repair shop, heavy-duty truck dealership, collision repair facility, or automotive service operation is preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive and/or heavy-duty truck repair and service operations.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and support employees.
- Strong ability to handle customer, insurance, vendor, and internal concerns professionally.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with repair orders, estimates, documentation, and billing.
- Experience with dealership or shop management systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of repair workflow, parts coordination, technician productivity, and quality control.
- Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems independently.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
