- Day-5:45am-2:15pm
- Afternoon-1:45pm-10:15pm
- Night-9:45pm-6:15pm

The starting pay range for the role is $23.54-$34.69 based on experience and qualifications. Plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, retirement savings plan, paid vacation, and other perks and opportunities.

Job Scope:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this full-time position is responsible for the complete manufacturing of cottage cheese and ensuring the quality of the product meets requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate all aspects of the cheese manufacturing including culture preparation, cutting and cooking using automated equipment and manual controls
- Set up and complete automated CIP washes and COP washes, as well as manual cleaning of equipment and environmental cleaning
- Record accurate and detailed production and CIP records
- Interact with maintenance and supervisory staff regarding processing issues
- Crosstrain within the processing department to perform product blending according to formulations and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately
- Follow Food Safety & Quality responsibilities as outlined in SOPs & other training materials provided and accurate record keeping
- Attend prescribed courses and training as required
- Other duties as assigned and required

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in a technical field and/or relevant food or dairy processing experience
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including excellent sanitary habits and possess knowledge of HACCP and HTST pasteurizing systems as applied to a dairy processing plant.




- Mechanical aptitude and solid troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team workplace
- Ability to be flexible in terms of shift work and perform other duties as required
- Good communication skills, including written and verbal
- Physically capable of performing the demands of the job-ability to multi-task, repleatedly lifting up to 25kg
