Retreat Massage and Wellness, a well-established multidisciplinary wellness clinic in Thornhill, is looking for a skilled and patient-focused Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac).

Our clinic provides a collaborative environment with RMTs, Physiotherapist, DOMP and Naturopath with opportunities for internal referrals and cross-disciplinary care.

We welcome both experienced practitioners and motivated R.Ac candidates who are looking to build a strong patient base. Candidates with strong hands-on clinical skills and experience treating musculoskeletal conditions will be given priority.

Our Ideal Candidate:

We are particularly interested in a R.Ac with experience or strong clinical interest in:

- Chronic and acute musculoskeletal pain
- Neck and back pain
- Shoulder conditions
- Sports injuries
- Headaches and migraines
- TMJ-related pain
- Sciatica and nerve-related symptoms
- Tendinopathy and overuse injuries
- Stress and sleep-related concerns

Additional experience with Electroacupuncture, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na or other complementary techniques is an asset.

What We Are Looking For:

Required:

- Registered with CTCMPAO
- Proof of valid professional liability/malpractice insurance
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish a close rapport with clients
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Professional, reliable and patient-centered approach
- Commitment to quality treatment and customer service
- Comfortable working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

Strongly preferred:

- Clinical experience treating pain and musculoskeletal conditions
- Ability to explain treatment plans clearly to patients
- Good needling technique and confidence with a variety of acupuncture presentations
- Additional licenses- Physiotherapist, RMT, DOMP, ND
