About Habbari

Habbari Trading Inc. is a Canadian-owned clothing business based in St. Catharines. Our retail store offers affordable new, branded, vintage and quality clothing and accessories for men, women and children.

We are looking for a motivated post-secondary student to join our team and gain hands-on experience in retail operations, customer service, merchandising, sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

The student will assist with:

- Greeting customers and providing friendly customer service
- Operating the point-of-sale/cash register
- Assisting customers with products, sizes and store information
- Restocking and organizing merchandise
- Maintaining clean and attractive clothing displays
- Merchandising and organizing store sections
- Receiving and preparing new inventory for the sales floor
- Assisting with inventory tracking and product organization
- Helping prepare promotional displays and in-store signage
- Supporting social media and marketing activities
- Taking photos and short videos of new arrivals and store promotions when required
- Learning about day-to-day retail business operations
- Supporting other store duties as required

Qualifications

We are looking for a student who:

- Is currently enrolled at a recognized Canadian college or university
- Is participating in an eligible co-op, internship or work-integrated learning placement
- Has robust communication and customer-service skills
- Is friendly, dependable and organized
- Is comfortable working with customers
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Has an interest in retail, business, marketing, fashion or a related field
- Is comfortable using social media and basic digital tools
- Is available for scheduled weekday and/or weekend shifts

Retail experience is an asset but is not required. Training will be provided.
