Adesh Group is developing an exciting new initiative in Ontario—Adesh Dental Licensing Academy (ADLA)—with the vision of supporting internationally trained dentists in their journey toward Canadian dental licensure through high-quality academic preparation, simulation training and practical skills development.

As we enter the planning and feasibility phase, we are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Dental Academic Consultant to help shape the academic and simulation framework of the proposed academy.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to be involved from the early development stage and contribute your expertise to the design of a current dental licensing preparation and simulation centre.

The successful consultant will work closely with the management team to:

- Provide expert guidance on NDEB/equivalency and Canadian dental licensing pathways
- Help develop the academic curriculum and practical training framework
- Advise on simulation stations, phantom heads, typodonts, instruments and equipment
- Provide input into the design and functionality of the proposed dental simulation laboratory
- Assist in developing simulation exercises, mock assessments and candidate evaluation methods
- Review academic and program-related content for accuracy
- Advise on future faculty recruitment,

Who We Are Looking For

We would particularly like to hear from candidates who have:

- Strong knowledge of NDEB/equivalency and Canadian dental licensing pathways
- Experience teaching or mentoring internationally trained dentists
- Practical experience with dental simulation and hands-on skills training
- Experience developing or delivering dental licensing examination preparation programs
- Strong communication, academic and organizational skills

Preference will be given to candidates who are currently working in NDEB/equivalency preparation, dental simulation training, or a similar Canadian dental licensing preparation environment.

Engagement & Compensation

Time Commitment: Approximately 5 hours per week
Compensation: CAD $100 per hour
Location: Ontario / Flexible or hybrid engagement depending on project requirements

This is initially a project-based consulting engagement during ADLA's feasibility and development phase, with the potential to evolve into a longer-term academic leadership opportunity as the academy progresses toward implementation.
