Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence and dignity
- Medication reminders accurately according to care plans and document all medication activities diligently
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety for both the client and yourself
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance overall well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning client living areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Assist with routine health monitoring, including vital signs checks and reporting any changes or concerns promptly
Experience
- Prior assisted living or nursing home experience is highly valued, demonstrating familiarity with senior care routines
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or those experiencing dementia is preferred, showcasing your adaptability and patience
- Proven caregiving experience that highlights your ability to provide compassionate support in home or facility settings
- Knowledge of medication reminder procedures and safety protocols is advantageous
- Strong skills in cleaning, meal preparation, and home care tasks that contribute to a clean, safe, and nurturing workplace
