Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Support seniors and individuals with disabilities through companionship, engagement, and emotional encouragement
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a protected living environment
- Monitor health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members
- Support clients during outings or appointments to ensure safety and comfort
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently and hygienically
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent.
