Snapshot of the Position:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Prep Cook to join our Deli department team. In this position, you’ll be the backbone of our food preparation process, helping to ensure that every dish meets our high standards for quality and presentation. If you passionate about food and working in the kitchen, we would like to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and organizing ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Support the cooking process by preparing components of dishes under the supervision of Head chef.
- Maintain proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene and prevent cross-contamination.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Merchandise products in the display cases
- Clean and sanitize the work area
- Ensure superior customer service
- Other tasks as assigned by Store Management

- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team

- Cook experience in a retail environment is not essential but preferred

Rate of Pay

$16.35 - $20.96 per hour

Hours of Work

32+ hours per week; should be available to work anytime days, evenings, and weekends as needed
