Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters – Newfoundland & Labrador (CME NL) is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Manufacturing Productivity Program Coordinator to join our team.
This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who enjoys keeping programs, people, schedules, data, and deliverables organized. The successful candidate will be strong in Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with data and reports, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
What You’ll Do
As the Manufacturing Productivity & Network Coordinator, you will support the delivery of CME NL's Manufacturing Productivity Program and related industry networks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate program activities, schedules, meetings, workshops, training sessions, and industry network events.
- Maintain program schedules, participant records, action items, deadlines, and supporting documentation.
- Use Microsoft Excel extensively to track program participation, activities, outcomes, budgets, deliverables, and key performance indicators.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, trackers, reports, and program dashboards.
- Compile information for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Monitor deadlines and follow up with staff, facilitators, companies, and partners to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, prepare agendas and materials, take meeting notes, and track follow-up actions.
- Communicate regularly with participating companies, facilitators, funders, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding companies participating in CME NL programs.
- Gather program data, success stories, testimonials, and other information required for reporting.
- Support the coordination of presentations, stakeholder updates, case studies, and program communications.
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to ensure programs run efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of their work.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, data organization, filtering, sorting, tracking, and creating clear reports. Experience with PivotTables and charts is an asset.
- Excellent coordination, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines at the same time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow up on outstanding items and keep projects moving forward.
- Experience preparing reports and working with data.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Professional and confident communication skills when dealing with businesses, partners, and stakeholders.
- Previous experience in program coordination, project coordination, administration, event coordination, or a similar role is an asset.
Education & Experience
A diploma or degree in business administration, project management, office administration, communications, or a related field is preferred. A combination of relevant education and practical experience will also be considered. 3- 5 years of experience.
Experience working with industry associations, government-funded programs, training programs, or the manufacturing sector is an asset.
Salary
$48,000–$58,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
