About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Auto Body Painter to join our growing team in Burnaby, BC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, performing high-quality paint repairs, and ensuring vehicles are restored to a professional finish that meets our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare vehicles and body panels for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and surface preparation.
- Match paint colors and properly mix paint according to manufacturer specifications.
- Apply basecoat, clearcoat, primer, and other automotive finishes using professional spray equipment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure proper color match, coverage, texture, and finish.
- Perform blending and refinishing work as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.




- Properly maintain and clean painting equipment and tools.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Work closely with body technicians and other team members to ensure efficient and high-quality repairs.
- Identify and report any issues that may affect the quality or completion of a repair.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as an Auto Body Painter / Automotive Refinishing Technician.
- Strong knowledge of automotive paint products, preparation techniques, and refinishing processes.
- Experience with paint mixing, color matching, blending, and spray application.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced collision repair environment.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
- Automotive refinishing certification or relevant trade experience is an asset.
