Responsibilities
- Prepare work sites by setting up containment barriers, sealing off areas, and ensuring proper ventilation to prevent asbestos fibers from spreading.
- Safely remove asbestos-containing materials using hand tools, power tools,
and specialized equipment following strict safety guidelines.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of work areas during and after abatement projects to eliminate residual asbestos fibers.
- Properly handle, package, label, and dispose of asbestos waste according to environmental regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- For workers must have level 2 certification and level 3 for supervisor
- Prior experience with construction or restoration projects is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of asbestos removal procedures and environmental regulations is a strong plus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in physically demanding environments.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance at all times.
