Kelowna Dental Centre is hiring a dental technician for our in-house 3D studio. $30 to $40 per hour.
Ceramics and full-arch implant restorations, design through fabrication, on site. exocad and 3Shape for design. Zirkonzahn and Roland mills, multiple 3D printers, pressing and layering in the same room. Cases come off our own CBCT, TRIOS Lumina scanners and Micron Mapper photogrammetry. Every case the practice does is made in this room.
The difference from a commercial lab is the dentist is thirty feet away. You see the patient, you see the case seated, you say no to a design before it gets milled, and a remake is a conversation instead of a courier and two weeks.
What you'd make: full-arch zirconia and titanium-bar cases, single-unit and bridge ceramics, surgical guides,
printed models and provisionals.
$30-$40/hr based on experience and skills. Extended health at 50% employer-paid. Full-time.
Assets: exocad or 3Shape design experience, hands-on ceramics, RDT registration with BCCOHP. If you're solid on CAD and lighter on the analog side, or the reverse, apply anyway and say which.
