Duties
- Perform tire inspections to identify wear, damage, or punctures, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
- Remove and replace tires using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely
- Balance tires to ensure smooth vehicle operation and optimal performance
- Conduct wheel alignments and basic maintenance tasks as needed to support vehicle safety
- Assist customers by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and recommended services with a friendly, professional approach
- Use heavy lifting techniques to handle tires of various sizes safely and effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use
Experience
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, tire components, and basic automotive repairs is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance procedures related to tire service
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on vehicles or handling tires
- Experience in sales or upselling services is a plus but not required
- Basic understanding of automotive safety standards and procedures
