The Opportunity
Dilawri Group in Ontario is actively seeking a Finance & Insurance Manager to join the opening team at Kia Vaughan.
Compensation: This is a commission-based position.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance & Insurance Manager will work closely with the dealership’s sales team to provide customers with financing, leasing, insurance, warranty, and protection-product options. The successful candidate will deliver an efficient, transparent, and professional purchase experience while supporting the dealership’s sales and profitability objectives.
Responsibilities
Present financing, leasing,
insurance, extended warranty, and vehicle-protection options to customers in a clear and professional manner.
Assess customer needs and recommend suitable products while ensuring a transparent and customer-focused experience.
Secure competitive financing and leasing approvals through the dealership’s network of financial institutions.
Prepare and complete finance contracts, lease agreements, warranty contracts, insurance forms, and all other required documentation.
Ensure all transactions and customer files are complete, accurate, compliant, and properly documented.
Coordinate with the sales team and customers to schedule and manage vehicle deliveries.
Verify that all financing conditions, down payments, licensing fees, insurance requirements, and supporting documents are received before delivery.
Submit finance and lease contracts for funding and promptly resolve any outstanding funding requirements.
Maintain accurate records and take ownership of all assigned deals and customer files through completion.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with lenders, vendors, manufacturer representatives, and internal dealership teams.
Meet or exceed established performance, product penetration, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives.
Stay informed about available lender programs, manufacturer incentives, industry developments, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with OMVIC requirements, lender policies, manufacturer standards, privacy obligations, and company procedures.
Support a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing dealership culture.
Qualifications
One to three years of automotive Finance & Insurance experience is preferred.
Demonstrated sales performance and a results-oriented mindset.
Strong understanding of automotive financing, leasing, warranties, insurance, and protection products.
Experience using First Canadian and One-Eighty is considered an asset.
Valid OMVIC registration is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to build trust and communicate financial information clearly to customers.
Ability to take ownership of challenges and bring them to a timely and positive resolution.
