MedEx Health Services is an accredited rehabilitation and home healthcare company, an approved Ontario Health atHome service provider, and a licensed Temporary Help Agency (THA) in Ontario.

We are seeking certified, experienced, compassionate and dependable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) and Nursing Aides for full-time employment in Tweed, Ontario. Successful candidates will provide personal support services in residential-care facilities and community settings.

Internationally trained nurses, newcomers and refugees are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Activities of Daily Living: Assist with feeding, transfers, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene and toileting
- Delegated Tasks: Perform authorized tasks delegated by a regulated health professional, within the employee’s training, demonstrated competence and applicable care policies
- Medication Assistance: Provide medication reminders and assistance according to the Plan of Care and employer policies
- Light Housekeeping: Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dishwashing and laundry
- Observation and Reporting: Monitor clients and their environments and promptly report changes, concerns or unsafe conditions
- Communication: Provide basic information and demonstrations related to daily living, meal preparation and housekeeping, as outlined in the Plan of Care
- Documentation: Maintain accurate communication books, progress notes and other required records

Applicant Requirements

Applicants must:





- Hold a recognized Ontario PSW certificate or an appropriate Nursing Aide qualification
- Have previous personal-support or nursing-care experience
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada, with a valid Canadian work permit where applicable
- Provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
- Be willing to relocate to Tweed, Ontario
- Be available to begin work on or around September 15th , 2026
- Be able to commit to a two-year employment contract
- Be comfortable living in shared accommodation, using the housing arranged by MedEx
- Be reliable, compassionate and committed to providing high-quality care

Compensation and Accommodation

- Full time employment with employee benefits
- Hourly wage of $23–$25, based on experience and length of contract
- Flexible scheduling based on operational requirements
- Shared accommodation arranged by MedEx within walking distance of the workplace
- Accommodation is not free; the employee is responsible for paying rent
- Rent and Lease term and conditions will be discussed at the time of the interview
- The available accommodation is in a shared women’s residence and is suitable for one female occupant
