Overview
We are seeking a reliable and patient Dog Pack Hiker to join our team. For a on-call position that willThis role is perfect for individuals who love dogs, can drive well and enjoy spending time outdoors. As a Dog Pack Hiker, you will be responsible for 6-8 dogs at a time, which requires building trust and confidence as the pack leader. While also ensuring their safety and well-being of your pack during walks. Your ability to engage with both pets and their owners will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service.

This role starts as an on-call position, giving you flexibility while you get to know our clients and their dogs. As you build experience with our pack, hours naturally grow, with many walkers moving into part-time or full time schedules. It's a great way to ease into the work and grow with us

Duties

- Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and socialization.
- Willingness to learn how to control multiple dogs on a hike, adhering to safety protocols.




- Communicate effectively with our team.
- Report any health or behavioural concerns to the pet owner promptly.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with both dogs and their owners.
- Pick up and drop off your pack of dogs.

Requirements

- Very good driver. Clean driving history and valid driver’s license
- Physically fit and comfortable in all weather
- Previous experience with dog handling or pet care is preferred.
- A suitable vehicle to transport dogs is preferred.
- Good customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
- Must be punctual, and able to work independently.

Pay: $22.50-$25.00 per hour
