As we continue to expand our transportation network across Canada, we are looking for a Capacity Sourcing Manager to strengthen our carrier network, optimize transportation capacity, and support the continued growth of our operations.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage and develop transportation capacity resources to support the company’s linehaul and transportation network across Canada.
- Source, evaluate, onboard, and manage transportation carriers and service providers based on operational needs, service quality, capacity, and cost.
- Lead carrier rate negotiations, contract discussions, and commercial terms to secure reliable and cost-effective transportation capacity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and transportation partners to ensure reliable capacity and service performance.
- Monitor transportation performance, capacity utilization, service levels, and operational exceptions, and work with internal teams and carriers to drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze transportation costs, market rates, carrier performance, and capacity trends to identify cost-saving and operational optimization opportunities.
- Coordinate with dispatch, operations, finance, legal, and warehouse teams to support carrier onboarding, settlement, contract management, and daily transportation operations.




- Maintain carrier information, insurance, compliance documentation, rates, and other required records in TMS and internal systems.
- Develop and continuously improve carrier sourcing strategies, vendor management processes, and SOPs to support the continued growth of the transportation network.

Qualifications

- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or transportation vendor/carrier management.
- Strong skills in data analysis, cost management, and commercial negotiation.
- Experience in carrier sourcing, transportation procurement, capacity management, or vendor management is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of transportation cost structures, carrier pricing, and commercial transportation operations.
- Experience with 26-ft trucks, 53-ft trailers, linehaul transportation, or Canadian transportation networks is an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with TMS or other transportation management systems is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple carriers, projects, and operational priorities simultaneously.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
