We are currently hiring Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility in Scarborough, ON. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating production machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor industrial machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Set up machines according to production specifications and work orders.
- Load raw materials into machines and remove finished products.
- Inspect products for quality, dimensions, and defects during the production process.
- Make basic machine adjustments to maintain product quality and production standards.
- Use hand tools and measuring equipment as required.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete production records, quality checks, and other required documentation.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Perform other general production and machine-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in a metal/manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Valuable attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift and handle materials as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be available for the assigned morning or afternoon shift.
Shifts: Morning & Afternoon shifts available
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
