ISS Ltd is looking for an experienced grader operator for our local mine work in the Villeneuve area. We are looking for an operator for our afternoon/evening shift (10 hr shift)

The position consists of grading the mine ramps, mine floor and haul roads for our operation. We use John Deere 872GP graders for maintaining the worksite for our haul trucks. We are looking for someone who has experience working with haul roads, having the ability to recognize what needs attention and keep the roads in good working condition.

Responsibilities

-Maintain haul roads, running surfaces, crowns and drainage

-Identify and address potholes, washboard and soft areas

-Being comfortable working safely around haul trucks and other equipment

-Communicating road conditions and maintenance needs to the supervisor

-Completing daily equipment inspections and report defects

-Keep the grader clean and carry out routine general maintenance

Qualifications

-Previous motor grader operating experience





-Experience maintaining haul roads

-Ability to work independently and coordinate with an active hauling operation

-A dependable work ethic and attention to equipment care

-Valid drivers license
