Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Sitter to provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings. The Patient Sitter will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, particularly those in senior care, hospice care, assisted living, and home care environments. This position requires a nurturing individual who can assist with daily activities while promoting a positive and caring atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Assist with basic patient care tasks including meal preparation and hygiene assistance.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes or concerns to healthcare staff.
- Ensure a clean and safe setting for patients by maintaining cleanliness in living areas.
- Engage patients in activities to promote mental stimulation and well-being.
- Accompanies the patient for activities,
providing social and emotional support, escorts the patient in a wheelchair as required, and performs other related duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Experience
- Previous experience in senior care, hospice care, assisted living, or home care is preferred.
- Experience working in nursing homes or similar environments is beneficial.
- A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining patient dignity.
