Job Summary
SAMBAL is a modern Indonesian bistro at The Danforth in Toronto. We are currently hiring a Dishwasher to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis. This position is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our food service, ensuring the kitchen remains clean and organized.

Duties

- Wash dishes, cookware, and utensils quickly and efficiently
- Clear and reset tables, keep the dining area tidy
- Take out garbage, recycling, and compost
- Help with janitorial tasks (sweeping, mopping, bathroom upkeep, etc.)
- Assist kitchen and front-of-house team as needed
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.




- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others as needed.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and management.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
