Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Sales Associate/Merchandiser to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for customer service, retail sales, and visual presentation. This role involves engaging with customers, managing product displays, and ensuring the store maintains an inviting and organized environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities, organizational skills, and a keen eye for merchandising to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.

Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain attractive and effective product displays using schematics and visual design principles to maximize sales potential.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash transactions accurately, and perform cashiering duties with integrity.
- Support store management in inventory control, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
- Supervise merchandising activities, including planogram setup, signage placement, and promotional displays in accordance with marketing plans.
- Assist in training new team members on sales techniques, store policies, and customer service standards.
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.




- Contribute to marketing efforts by creating visual content using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator when needed for promotional materials.

Skills

- Proven experience in retail sales with a strong focus on customer engagement and service excellence.
- Supervising experience in a retail or merchandising environment, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual design and marketing collateral creation.
- Knowledge of schematics, visual merchandising principles, and store layout optimization.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering operations.
- Experience in merchandising strategies including pricing adjustments and promotional displays.
- Ability to manage time effectively while supporting store management tasks such as administrative duties and inventory control.
