Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately and according to care plans, ensuring safety and compliance
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support clients with mobility exercises and transfers using proper techniques




- Document care activities thoroughly and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Skills

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly valued
- Robust background in senior care, dementia care, or caring for individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently
- Familiarity with home care practices and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
