Our client is a well-established facility in Kitchener and they are looking for a licensed Electrician to join their collaborative maintenance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and keeping production running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, controls, and equipment breakdowns
- Diagnose and repair electrical/electronic components and boards
- Perform minor PLC troubleshooting and program edits
- Support production during equipment repairs and minimize downtime
- Complete maintenance documentation through the CMMS system
- Ensure all work meets Ontario Electrical Safety Code requirements
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior tradespeople

What We're Looking For

- Valid Ontario 442A or 309A Electrical License is required, with a minimum of 4 years' experience as a licensed Electrician OR a Certificate of Completed Apprenticeship from Skilled Trades Ontario
- Industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical schematics




- Solid understanding of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Comfortable troubleshooting both newer and legacy equipment
- PLC troubleshooting experience and CMM experience is an asset but training can be provided

Rotating 12-hour continental shift:

- 2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Rotation changes following the 3-day weekend
- Overtime paid after 84 hours bi-weekly
