Voice Talent - French Canadian - AI Phone Agent - Customer Support

Job Description
We're looking for French Canadian voice talent for a paid recording project for an AI phone agent focused on customer support. We need voices that sound like a real support call: natural, human, proactive, and solution-oriented. Ideal for voice actors/actresses or people with customer support experience.

Role(s) currently open

- French Canadian Voice Talent (any gender)

Initial application sample
Please record your sample in French Canadian - not in English, France French, or any other language/dialect.
Please send 1 audio sample, at least 2 minutes long, representing a realistic customer support phone call - it should not sound read, scripted, or overly polished.

Reference guide (includes several possible cases/industries, not just logistics): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hciqVwb0FCs448LydOEqjS2f5NqiVxb2tJKMibRHhHo/edit?usp=sharing
Before recording, please watch/read the full guide - it's key to understanding what we're looking for.

What to record
Build a short bullet-list memory aid outlining how the conversation should shift over the call, and improvise from there - do not read a full script. The less scripted it sounds, the better your chances. You may use an AI tool to help draft that bullet list, but not to write out full lines to read. If we notice you're reading, we won't be able to move forward with your application. If your delivery is improvised but needs polish, you'll move to a next stage with feedback for a re-recording.

Voice style
Conversational, natural, human,

native and authentic accent - not exaggerated or theatrical. Short phrases, 1-2 second natural pauses, light fillers, nodding sounds, spontaneous reactions, sudden stops as if the other person just shared new information that changes the situation. Steady pace, slowing down for numbers. Natural breaths, coughs, sighs welcome - it must not sound polished.

Audio requirements
Quiet room, no background noise, reliable mic levels, no handling noise. WAV preferred (44.1/16 or 48/24); high-quality MP3 accepted.

File naming - IMPORTANT
Name your file starting with CA_FR_M (male) or CA_FR_F (female).
Use M for male voice and F for female voice.

How to submit
Attach your sample by email to [email protected] - it's michel, not michael, and .co, not .com.

Deadline
Please send your sample by Friday, September 11, before EOD San Francisco time. The sooner, the better - the search may close once we receive enough qualified samples.

Next stages & Payment
If your sample is approved, you may be asked for a paid 15-minute sample (USD $50), then the final long-form recording: 3 paid hours total, split into two 90-minute blocks (USD $300 each, USD $600 total), each paid after review and approval. Hourly rate: USD $200/60 min.

Voice rights / licensing
If we move forward with licensing, it's handled as a separate step, subject to your consent.

How to apply
Submit your sample following the instructions above. Questions? Just let us know, happy to help.

Pay: $200.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 per week
