Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Labourer / Renovation Helper to join our team.

This is an entry-level position and previous construction experience is helpful, but not required. We are more interested in finding someone who is physically fit, dependable, works at a good pace, and is eager to learn.

You will initially work alongside our experienced tradespeople, helping them complete renovation, construction, and property maintenance projects. As you gain experience and demonstrate your abilities, you will have opportunities to learn current skills and take on more responsibility.

This is a hands-on, physical job. We are looking for someone who stays productive throughout the day, follows direction well, and is willing to jump in and help wherever needed.

Role & Responsibilities

- Load, unload, carry, and organize construction materials, tools, and supplies
- Move materials from trucks and storage areas to where they are needed on the job site
- Set up work areas and prepare materials for experienced tradespeople
- Assist with demolition, construction, landscaping, and general renovation work
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe throughout the day
- Clean and properly store tools and equipment
- Follow instructions and established safety procedures
- Learn the proper use of hand and power tools
- Assist experienced team members with construction and renovation tasks




- Stay productive and look for the next task when assigned work is completed
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor or Project Manager

- Comfortable taking direction from experienced team members
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Able to safely lift and carry 50 lbs
- Able to bend, kneel, climb, and work with arms overhead
- Basic familiarity with hand and power tools is an asset
- Previous construction, landscaping, renovation, or other physical work experience is an asset but not required

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
