Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our agile team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent guest experiences, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service techniques.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and enhance their dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cashiering systems is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons.
- Experience using POS systems for order processing is beneficial.
