Welcome to the NWT Brewing Company - nestled between the wonder of the aurora borealis and the rugged nature of the northern frontier, our little brewing outpost is one of a kind. Located in the spirited town of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories we are the northernmost brewpub in Canada.

Our 112 seat brewpub, The Woodyard Brewhouse & Eatery, is currently looking for a dedicated part-time dishwasher & kitchen helper to join our restaurant. We are looking for someone who can work 3-4 shifts/week primarily in the evenings.

This is a very key role on our back of house team that requires a lot of physical work and attention to detail. We need someone that is reliable, has a good attitude, and is a team player all around. Opportunities for advancement may be available.

Compensation:
- We currently pay $23/hour plus gratuities (+$2-3/hour) and a complimentary shift meal after 5 hours.

DUTIES

- Ensuring the cleanliness of every dish, pot, pan, piece of silverware, and glass that goes to the kitchen and our guests.
- Ensuring the dish machine is operating at correct temperatures in all cycles.
- Ensuring that the proper detergents (and levels of detergents)



are being used in the dish machine and pot washing sinks.
- Ensuring that the proper sanitizers are being used when cleaning walls, countertops, and floors.
- Maintaining safe, clean, and organized walk ways in the kitchen.
- Assisting kitchen with prep work during off peak hours.
- Deep cleaning duties of the kitchen and prep areas as well as light cleaning of the dining room spaces from time to time.
- You are to ensure that the dish area, kitchen floor, and storage areas are cleaned at all times.
- You are responsible for the back dock and dumpster areas. You must maintain these areas so that they are free from debris at all times.
