Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food and beverage preparation, cash handling, and customer engagement while working in a vibrant, community-focused setting.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food prep stations and dining spaces
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order completion
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including serving food items and maintaining product freshness
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and cashiering procedures




- Follow all food safety regulations and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

Qualifications

- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to operate POS systems, including Micros POS, efficiently
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
