Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical operations of the practice. As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient flow, assisting with procedures, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Your expertise in dental technology and patient communication will contribute to delivering outstanding dental services.

Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for procedures.
- Assist dentists during various dental treatments, including restorative, orthodontic, and pediatric procedures.
- Take dental radiographs using sensors
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental software Cleardent/Tracker
- Provide comprehensive patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Support front desk operations by acting as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, and managing patient inquiries.




- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards to protect patients and staff.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology, including orthodontics and pediatrics, to enhance service quality.

Requirements

- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program; additional certification in orthodontics or pediatrics is advantageous.
- Proficiency in cleardent / Tracker
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial but not mandatory; customer service skills are essential.
