We are currently looking for a qualified and certified Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team.

Our work includes custom wireline trucks, service bodies, hydraulic systems, mobile equipment, and specialized truck-mounted packages. We are looking for an experienced technician who is confident working with hydraulic systems and is comfortable diagnosing, installing, servicing, and repairing a wide variety of truck-mounted equipment.

This position is best suited for someone who is mechanically strong, works well independently, and takes pride in completing clean, reliable work.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, service, repair, and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Install and commission complete hydraulic systems on new equipment builds
- Troubleshoot hydraulic system performance, leaks, pressure issues, and component failures
- Install and service PTOs, hydraulic pumps, valve banks, hydraulic motors, cylinders, coolers, tanks, hoses, and related components
- Perform mechanical assembly and installation on wireline trucks, service trucks, and specialized equipment
- Install and service compressors, pumps, reels,



and other truck-mounted equipment
- Diagnose and repair existing customer equipment
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and equipment drawings
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work closely with fabrication, electrical, and production staff during new equipment builds

Qualifications

- Certified Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician / Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
- Solid hands-on experience with hydraulic systems is required
- Strong understanding of hydraulic troubleshooting and system operation
- Experience with PTO-driven hydraulic systems, pumps, valve banks, cylinders, and hydraulic motors
- Experience with mobile equipment, commercial trucks, oilfield equipment, or specialized truck-mounted equipment is considered a strong asset
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and hydraulic problems independently
- Basic electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics is preferred
- Must have your own basic set of hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence preferred





Schedule

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Fridays available for overtime as required
- Day shift
- Full-time, permanent
- Edmonton, Alberta
- In-person position
