Duties

- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts and accessories to meet their needs, providing expert advice on product features and compatibility
- Manage inventory levels through accurate order fulfillment, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to ensure availability of high-demand items
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and invoicing
- Maintain organized records of parts orders, returns, and warranty claims using computer systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Microsoft Excel
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone and in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette, active listening, and clear articulation of product information
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing strategies that promote parts sales and enhance customer engagement




- Support maintenance activities within the parts department to uphold safety standards and ensure a clean, organized workspace

Qualifications

- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred
- Strong familiarity with POS systems, retail sales processes, and cash handling procedures
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, facilitating communication with diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of CMMS software, Microsoft Excel, and basic math skills for order processing and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills coupled with negotiation abilities to assist customers effectively and upsell when appropriate
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in customer service roles within retail or automotive settings is advantageous

Pay: $17.18-$29.46 per hour
