Who we are

Ridge North America (RNA) is a Western Canada-based integrated destination development company built on three pillars: Play (iconic attractions), Stay (hotels and resorts) and Live (residential communities). We develop and own places people travel to experience, including mountain gondolas, canyon experiences and alpine lodges, and we are growing that portfolio through disciplined acquisitions, joint ventures and greenfield development.

The Mandate

Reporting to the Chief Corporate Development and Strategy Officer, the Head of International Capital Markets owns RNA's institutional fundraising strategy end to end, from building relationships with sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, insurers, endowments and family offices to sourcing and closing the capital that funds the next decade of growth. The mandate spans Canadian institutional and UHNW capital, and international investors seeking exposure to Canadian private markets.

Key Responsibilities

· Fundraising Strategy : Formulate and execute strategies to secure capital commitments from Canadian and international institutional and UHNW investors.

· Cross-Border Investor Relations : Act as RNA's primary contact for foreign investors, explaining the regulatory and economic case for investing in a Canadian-managed portfolio.

- Due Diligence :

Lead multi-jurisdictional due diligence, coordinating with deal, legal and tax teams on international tax withholding, FATCA/CRS and local regulatory requirements.

· Fund Structuring : Work with leadership on fund mechanics, including feeder funds, parallel vehicles and co-investment structures for domestic and offshore investors.

- LP Communications: Maintain institutional-grade reporting to LPs on fund performance, valuation and exit timelines.

Qualifications

- 8-12+ years in private markets capital raising, investor relations, investment banking, corporate finance or real assets/hospitality investment.

- Demonstrated track record personally originating and closing institutional raises of US$250M+; exposure to US$1B+ vehicles or platform partnerships preferred.

- Active, senior-level relationships with sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, insurers, endowments and family offices, with a network spanning at least two of North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

- Direct experience in commercial real estate, hospitality, leisure/attractions, infrastructure or other long-duration private-market strategies, ideally including long-hold or permanent-capital structures.

- Working knowledge of Canadian securities and tax requirements alongside cross-border capital flows and international placement regimes (Reg D/144A, AIFMD).

- Active registration, or immediate eligibility, as a Dealing Representative with Canadian provincial securities regulators (CSC/EMP or equivalent).

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or International Business; MBA, CFA or CAIA preferred.

- Strong grasp of private equity structures, fund waterfalls, carried interest, FX risk and the tax treatment of inbound foreign investment.

- Polished, credible communicator able to engage CIOs, investment committees and family principals, with experience preparing investor materials from pitch decks through data rooms.

- Self-directed, commercially minded and discreet, comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with legal, tax, finance and executive teams.
