We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our vibrant dental team! In this pivotal role, you will serve as the essential bridge between patients and the clinical team, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from the moment patients walk through the door. Your energetic approach will help educate patients on treatment plans, coordinate scheduling, and facilitate financial arrangements, all while maintaining a welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Explain treatment options clearly, answer patient questions, and ensure understanding of procedures and costs.
- Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software Tracker
- Verify insurance benefits, process payments, and assist with financial arrangements to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and medical histories using electronic medical records systems.
- Coordinate communication between patients, dental providers, and insurance companies to streamline care delivery.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries promptly and professionally while supporting administrative tasks.
Skills
- Proven experience working as a dental receptionist, RDA background is an asset for this role.
- Solid understanding of dental terminology relevant to dental care and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly and empathetically to patients.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems and coordinate appointments seamlessly.
- Previous experience in dental office settings, demonstrating administrative competence in a fast-paced setting.
