Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in masonry work, including building and restoring structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and stone. This role involves working on new construction projects, renovations, and restoration jobs, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Brick Mason will collaborate with other construction professionals to deliver durable and aesthetically pleasing results in various building environments.

Responsibilities

- Construct, repair, and restore brick, stone, and concrete block structures according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine layout and materials needed.
- Operate hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels efficiently to achieve precise work.
- Utilize power tools including saws, drills, and grinders safely and effectively during masonry tasks.
- Mix mortar or grout to appropriate consistency for bonding bricks or stones.
- Perform renovation work by removing old masonry materials and replacing them with new structures or finishes.
- Apply caulking or sealants as needed for waterproofing or finishing surfaces.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work setting at all times.




- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects.

Skills

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to masonry work.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices related to bricklaying, stonework, and concrete block installation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with renovation and restoration projects involving masonry materials.
- Familiarity with the operation of heavy equipment used in construction settings.
- Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction sites.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
